Christmas party - Brownie Recipe
Thanks for everyone's good wishes and lots of people made it work so that's to them too. I think I promised this last time..
Brownie Recipe - for an 20cm (8in) square tin
250g butter, 90g cocoa powder, 4 eggs, 500g caster sugar, 120g self-raising flour, 1 tsp vanilla essence
Preheat oven to 180 DegC. Line the bottom of the tin with parchment paper.
Melt butter (this can be done in the microwave) and then stir in cocoa until blended and set aside.
Beat eggs & sugar until well mixed and stir in the chocolate mixture. Sift the flour over the top and fold in.
Pour mixture into tin and bake for 30-35 mins or until just cooked through and springy to the touch. Cool in the tin. Turn out and cut into squares.
