Old Fashion School Sports Day

posted 7 Jun 2013, 02:27 by Cranleigh Runners
Dear All,

We are having an Old Fashion School Sports Day this Saturday 8th June 2013 starting at 2pm onwards. It will be held at Snoxalls. Please bring your own food and drink (no bbq's please).

Please donate prizes for the tombolas asap to either Lucy, Tara or Julia. We will be having 2 tombolas - 1 for children and one for adults. The children's tombola will be 20p per ticket and the adults £1 per ticket. Thankyou to everyone who has donated something already.

We ask for a minimum donation of 20p per race and you will be asked to sign to say which race you are entering, (here comes the Health and safety bit!) you will also be asked to sign a disclaimer for either you or/and your child, and there will be another tick box to say if it is OK to use any photos of you on our website. You wont be able to pre register before Saturday.

For the races and the tombola there will be a limited float so we would be grateful if you could raid the piggy banks and bring change with you!

There will be a maximum of 8 lanes, so if a race is popular we may need to do the same race several times. None of the races will be timed, and there wont be heats. It is just for fun!

The first race will start at 2.30pm:

What we are really hoping for is a great family day and social for everyone. If we can raise money for Surrey Air Ambulance at the same time all the better. Most of all we would just like you to come along, bring friends, family and relatives and have FUN.

Thankyou for all your support and we hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday.

Any questions please contact me,

Thanks,

Lucy.
