Summer Hash Runs

posted 27 Apr 2012, 05:18 by Cranleigh Runners

As the evening light is improving day by day it is time to organise the summer hash runs. We need Volunteers to organise each hash run. The duties required include; choosing the pub & route, contacting the pub, publicising the run, marking out the route and shepherding everyone around. Typically two or three runners work together on marking out a hash run. Here are the suggested dates;

May 8th (to allow some time to organise)
June 5th - The Jolly Farmer Bramley - Tracy
July 3rd
Aug 7th
Sept 4th - Mary Jo hosting Summer BBQ - Route organisers needed

For those who are new the hash runs they start at a pub, typically outside Cranleigh, we run for approximately one hour and end with supper back at the pub. The route is marked out with flour. It allows us to get out of the Cranleigh area and explore new countryside and paths. The are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month.

New members are fully welcome to join the hash runs.
Let me know if you are interested in organising.
